    Sirius College Cadet program

    Includes various camps which include activities such as hiking, abseiling, rock climbing, kayaking and various cadet activities.

    Explores different survival skills and hacks for outdoor activities (types of knots, how to construct a hootchie, how to make a fire etc)

    Teaches different types of Drills ( Marching, Attention, Salute etc.)

    Teaches etiquette and behaviour of what is expected at cadets and displaying the core values of cadets (Courage, Initiative, Teamwork and Respect)

    Gives the opportunity to socialise or meet cadets from other units

     

     

    The Australian Army Cadets (AAC) is the youth military program and organisation of the Australian Army. It teaches one confidence, discipline, leadership, and values that make youth more equipped to society.

     

    The cadet program:

     

    • Gives the opportunity to socialise or meet cadets from other units
    • Teaches etiquette and behaviour of what is expected at cadets and displaying the core values of cadets (Courage, Initiative, Teamwork and Respect)
    • Teaches different types of Drills ( Marching, Attention, Salute etc.)
    • Explores different survival skills and hacks for outdoor activities (types of knots, how to construct a hootchie, how to make a fire etc)

    Cadets challenge you to branch out of your comfort zone, leading you to become confident, self-sufficient and willing to “have a go.”
