Annual school surveys are a tool that provide educators and administrators an opportunity to gather feedback and data on a variety of aspects of the schooling. These surveys are administered to students (Y5-Y12), parents, teachers, and staff and cover topics such as school climate, academic and behavioural performance, teacher-student relationships, school safety and school management- staff-parent relationships as well as staff acknowledgement and feedback.
The surveys are conducted online, and the data collected is used to help school leaders identify areas for improvement, evaluate the effectiveness of current programs and initiatives, and make data-driven decisions. The annual school surveys help to foster a sense of community and engagement by giving stakeholders a voice in shaping the direction of the school.
